Its Evening. Not morning. ‘case you didn’t notice.

And now I shall record random notes because I need a place to record them and there is something wonderful about having a blog to type them into even when no one reads it.

I have been analyzing doctors Nine, Ten, and Eleven of Doctor Who to figure out their Myers-Brigg Personality Profiles.

I have decided that Nine is either INTJ.

My explanation for this:

For starters, the ninth doctor’s love of sarcasm and logical decisions suggests a thinking-type personality.

The Doctor: You think you know your own name? How stupid are you?

Rose: [on the phone] Um… my mother’s cooking. She’s cooking tea. For us.

The Doctor: I don’t do that.

Rose: She wants to get to know you.

The Doctor: Tough. I’ve got better things to do.

Rose: She’s my mother.

The Doctor: She’s not mine.

Rose: That’s not fair!

This also suggests that he uses the Extroverted Thinking function as either his Dominant or Auxiliary, which makes him TJ. The J is confirmed by his in control attitude.

As he usually keeps his plans to himself at first, this also suggests and introverted personality making him IxTJ.

Now I look at the remaining two choices: INTJ and ISTJ

The differences here is that ISTJs tend to be down-to-earth and pay a lot of a attention to details, while INTJs prefer to theorize and analyze. The doctor seems to enjoy coming up with plans and he definitely seems to be more INTJ then ISTJ to me.

The end.

…Goodness that’s a lot of work for a simple explanation that I can do in my in under five minutes…
